Hi!
I’m Faye, the creator of Spirit & Psycho. I’m a second-year Fine Art student studying at Liverpool Hope. I love all things colour and abstract, and I have a bit of a love–hate relationship with the professional art world.

That love-hate relationship is what inspired me to create this space.

I started Spirit & Psycho because, honestly, finding places to show work can feel impossible when you’re just starting. I’ve experienced how closed off the art world can feel, how expensive opportunities are, and how hard it is to get your work in front of the right people.

As an artist myself, with my own practice rooted in experimentation, process, and learning as I go, Spirit & Psycho grew directly out of that. Out of making work, asking questions, and wanting space for ideas to exist without pressure.

I wanted to create something I wish existed. A space that feels supportive, accessible, and encouraging, where artists can share what they’re making without jumping through endless hoops.

Spirit & Psycho is about giving work a place to land, building a community around making, and helping artists feel seen.
