Artist’s Statement

free of error - this piece is quite self explanatory due to its title, but further deep into my work i realised i needed to break free from organisation in my work, so i decided to get rid of any practices i was used to within my work, and painted a semi-collage piece, ‘free of error’ to produce something completely off topic and out of mind.

under pattern - this piece resembles a lot within nature, how we preserve the underground beneath what our environment revolves around, what our eyes don’t see underneath a tree. Its beauty, its patterns, its appearance, it is nature.

deranged orange - apart from the very clear appearance of fruit, this piece is supposed to be mixed fruits, just as it’s becoming juice, the sourness, the zest, and the sweetness. a bright mix of colourful, healthy food.
